Faculty of Burdur Veterinary Medicine was established in 1992 and was affiliated to Akdeniz University by the law in July, 3 1992 and the number 3837.  In 1996-97 academic year, the education started at Ankara University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Ankara. Since1997-98 academic year, the students has continued their education in Burdur.
