IVSA (International Veterinary Student’s Association) organized an event titled 'New Horizons in Cat and Dog Health' on Monday, October 21, 2024, in the Veterinary Faculty Conference Hall. The event started with a moment of silence, the National Anthem, and the opening speech by the Dean of the Veterinary Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağrı KARAKURUM, followed by presentations on 'Current Vaccination Program in Cats and Dogs' (Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağrı KARAKURUM), 'The Role of Pet Owners in Obesity in Cats and Dogs' (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eren KUTER), 'Treatment Applications in Canine Parvovirus Infections' (Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan YILDIZ), 'Artificial Insemination in Dogs' (Dr. Faculty Member Fırat KORKMAZ), and 'Why is My Dog Not Getting Pregnant? One Question, Many Answers' (Prof. Dr. Ali Reha Ağaoğlu).
