During the Covid-19
pandemic, many Veterinarians have taken part in vaccination efforts to prevent the spread of the pandemic both globally and in our country, and some vaccines have been carried out directly by Veterinarians. This year, World Veterinary Doctors Day will be celebrated worldwide with the theme “Veterinarians' Response to the Covid-19 Pandemic”.
Veterinarians who vaccinate and treat animals against zoonotic diseases, prevent the transmission of diseases to humans, provide vaccination and health care for pet animals, allow us to share our homes with them, eliminate diseases in animals, are the essential link in the food chain, and produce vaccines for both animal health and human health, I wish a Happy World Veterinary Doctors Day to all Veterinarians and my student candidates.
