The horizontal transition application will be made through https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YatayGecisBasvuruFormu online will be conducted.

THERE IS NO NEED TO APPLY IN PERSON OR BY MAIL.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

Ø The YGS, LYS or YKS Results/ YKS Placement Results (showing all score types) presented by the student during their acceptance to the university ÖSYM Result Document, (for Additional Article 1 applications)

Ø Student (Status) Document obtained from the higher education institution where they are registered (it will be QR coded, e-signed or wet signed),

Ø A certified official document showing the name, credit, and success grades of all courses taken until the semester they wish to transfer, excluding the preparatory class, and the weighted grade point average according to their credits (grade chart/grade transcript). (Documents in foreign languages must be translated into Turkish.)

Ø Students who are studying in the preparatory class or who have suspended their registration must document their status,

Ø A certified official document showing that the student studying in the second education program is among the top ten percent at the end of the relevant academic semester; showing that they are in the top ten percent,

Ø Certified course contents (course syllabus) (Students who do not submit course contents will be placed in the first year.)

Ø Document regarding whether they have received a disciplinary penalty,

Ø Document stating that there is no obstacle to horizontal transition (Students who do not bring this document during registration will not be registered).
