Traditional Apron Wearing Ceremonies Were Held in Our Faculty's Conference Hall.

The traditional White Coat Ceremonies, held annually at our Faculty, were conducted in the Conference Hall. The White Coat Ceremony, planned to be held in April for the 1st-year students of the 2022-2023 Academic Year, was postponed due to the Kahramanmaraş Earthquake on February 6th. Therefore, the white coat ceremonies were held consecutively on 02.11.2023 for the 2nd-year students and on 03.11.2023 for the 1st-year students. The ceremonies were attended by our Faculty's Acting Dean Prof. Dr. M. Çağrı KARAKURUM, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Ramazan ADANIR and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Zafer USTA, President of Burdur Chamber of Veterinary Surgeons Vet. Hek. Kazım ÜSTÜNER, President of Burdur Commodity Exchange Vet. Hek. Ömer Faruk GÜNDÜZALP, Deputy Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Vet. Hek. Mustafa AKGÜL, President of Burdur Sheep and Goat Breeders Association Mustafa YILDIZ, faculty members, students, and their families. Following the Moment of Silence and our National Anthem, a presentation titled "Veterinarians in the Republic of Turkey" was made by our Faculty's Department of Veterinary History and Deontology Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Savaş Volkan GENÇ. After the protocol speeches, the students were ceremoniously dressed in their white coats one by one.
